Ok guys here is my review of the staff I got, really pleased with it but I maybe should have got longer blades, I am 6"3.
I apologise if the video's a bit choppy it's the first time I've used the youtube capture and edit feature. plus my young son kept wanting to be in the video Smiley

And because I think no true review can be done without a night pic/video.

Nice review!

I have a Phantom V3 staff.  I'm still playing with blade length.  I like the 24" initiate blades for their speed and responsiveness, but I'm starting to really like the standard 32" blades for the greater reach.
At 6'4" I am tall enough to handle them, at least.  :-)

nice little review

I had a similar thought when it comes to Covertec wheels in staff format it's not in the best location where as in single blade they are fine.

you could always unscrew the covertec wheels when in staff they come off and quite easy with the right sized tool

Hello all. very nice first review and yes I do agree with you in that longer blades would suit you better and with your height you could handle it no problem. I will be posting my first video this Saturday so hope it comes out as good as yours and may the Force be with you!

Hi guys

cheers, good idea about taking the covertec wheels off in staff never thought of that. Definetley going to get some larger blades in the future but being in France they seem to bump up the postage a fair bit. Plus made the most of the deal this month to order a consular emerald plus grab bag do I could always mix and match.

Thanks guys for the o ring suggestion around the battery case it works great and I feel much more confident swinging it/them without the rattling noise. Had some great fun with my daughter yesterday slinging the sabers( especially when I told to hit low and she hit me in the head instead ouch!) would have had a great video but the iphone mucked up!

Heh.  That's one I need to try!
I have to say, I noticed the other day what I thought was a slip in the blade that turned out to be the battery pack moving around.  Looks like I'm going to the store for some o rings.  Or maybe just some rubber bands.  I have a ton of those already...
