Nice. The Raven looks killer. Your wife has good tastes for sabers.  If I can ever manage it though, mine wants a Dark War Glaive, siler claws, Consular Green Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blade, Obsidian with green av button, and li-ions. Shes a green freak. My next saber will be regular VA though. She has good taste in saber colors  A saber for your anniversary gift... Vex, you are the man for arranging such a thing. It gives me ideas of my own... |

I never thought that I would have such a feeling of awesomeness, shock, awe, and wanting of another saber. The Raven would be at the top of my list if I had the money to buy any saber, but I feel as if I may never own one.

Blade size preference is pretty much a personal thing. An initiate blade looks relatively silly on a raven (with claws) in my opinion, but anything over 30" looks fine. I have a preference towards shorter blades. Actually, my raven right now is declawed with an initiate blade on it.

I've been practicing some throw and catch stuff while spinning, having the claws off gives me a bit more room to catch the hilt. I put them back on for display purposes.
