What trial is this? Who's getting persecuted?
I don't really pay attention to the news anymore.
From what I looked up, it's Christopher Vaughn, he murdered his wife and 3 kids by putting them in a car and shooting them twice... |

Actually, it is usually a really dumb idea to take the stand. I saw a guy once take the stand when he was accused of molesting his own daughter. This his how it went: Prosecutor: So you check on your daughter in the middle of the night. Father: Yes Prosecutor: Do you tell your daughter that she looks pretty. Father: What father wouldn't? Prosecutor: Yes or no sir. Father: Yes. Prosecutor: So it is safe to say that after some time of looking in on your daughter and feeling that she is pretty that your instincts as a man finally won out? Father: Hell no! Prosecutor: So are you saying that you don't like women? Father: That is not what I said! Prosecutor: Yes or no, please answer the question. I can honestly say that I really felt for the guy. So excited to receive my first saber tomorrow! I ordered a Dark Initiate LE V2 with SRD and a Standard 32" Mid-Grade blade. Ordered it last night at around midnight, and should be receiving it tomorrow according to UPS (I live about 25 miles away from Ultra Sabers).

I can't wait. I initially wanted a Dark Initiate V3 LE with an Ultraedge, Obsidian Sound and FoC, but that'll probably be my next build as it comes out to about $260 with shipping.
What blade do you have? Mid-Grade or Ultraedge? And what would you recommend?
By the way, is there any way to order a 32" blade by itself? I've noticed that the 32" blade option is only present where ordering a complete saber, but not when looking to purchase just a blade. The closest I see are the 36" blades. I am a small guy (5'6"), so I want a smaller blade, but not 24" small, haha.

After doing some digging, I found out that UPS DOES, in fact, slow down packages... well, thats not fair, they actually just wait until the absolute latest they can ship it from their hubs lol

I have a 32" UE midgrade. Works really well for forms. I would say that if you are going to be sparring with people that use HG blades to pick one up. The tip on mine has a nasty habit of falling off when I am sparring with different grade blades.
Balance is really nice, and for me it is strictly a one handed saber. My hands are too big to 2 hand on it. :S
If you want to order a 32" blade, you put in an order for a 36" and then put for them to cut it down to a 32 in the order comments.

I'll definitely post some pics when they are up. Doing some videos for the raffles to help some friend's hopefully win their first saber (they don't have the funds to outright buy the ones they want right now). Then will post some pics of all 3 of my sabers, and a video review of all three sabers (for the 300 loyalty points and want to get into video a bit). I'm with you, only seen gold gravflex buttons. I love chrome and I think the red would look good just to contrast the rest of the saber, especially with the blue illuminated button (was thinking going red but decided to have some more visual contrast) |
