Gah! First I was waiting on US, now I'm waiting on FedEx. My order finally shipped four days ago but has been sitting in Fairview, Utah for the last two. It would be here by now if FedEx would just keep their shipments moving instead of just letting the package stagnate for 48 (and counting) hours! Come on, FedEx, come on! I get that I'm over-anticipating my first saber, but hurry it up, already!

Oh, yeah. The con backlog is definitely cleared. The EG Dark Apprentice V4 LE I ordered Friday afternoon/evening shipped today.

I go impatient for the hollidays.....so I went ahead and ordered a Catalyst in Violet Amethyst w/silver FoC and V4 sound board for my sister. I'm going to make a nice box for it, and give it to her at Christmas. Giving myself plenty of time to make the box in case things at work get crazy.

True. The first Ultrasaber I ever bought went to dad for Fathers' Day last year. I went DSI because a) lower cost  , b) still looked pretty cool, but mainly c) anodized and had a large area for engraving. I hadn't even heard of laser engraving. The place I ended up at didn't have the font I initially wanted. So when he said I could download any font online, I started thinking, "Surely some blessed nerd with too much time has created a decent Basic font." Lo and behold I found it. This is the result.    |

That is so awesome! The all silver Catalyst is VERY sleek looking and the VA blade color will look ace with it. |

Thanks. You should be able to get it done at any trophy shop. And it's dirt cheap. It works basically like a printer. The only down side is that you have to have an anodized saber. I'm not sure what the effect is on the red or blue. Someone else can have that adventure/experiment.
