I have to agree with being a bit taken aback by someone not knowing of Midway, but if they don't...
What I mean is that, I wouldn't have considered an historical event to be spoiler material either, since it's in the history books, but Knox makes a good point. Anything a person has no prior knowledge of can be a spoiler.
That said, shame on you Knox...lol
I'm sure there are plenty of UK based battles that people in America probably haven't heard of, unless they are a WW2 buff. That being said, if anyone wishes to complain about my lack of knowledge, I can give you the address to the private school I went to. Feel free to write to them and let them know they should take latin off the curriculum and teach more American history instead! LOL |

They're equally inane.  No but, for real. When I read that I actually was mystified for a sec. That was one of WWII's largest and most significant battles. Kind of on the D-Day level in the Pacific. At any rate, yes many might not know of a lot of the European ones either. I've watched so many docs on YT and such though. I recommend WWII in color, if you wish to have a very clear understanding of what took place and where. Afterwards, of course.  Latin - SHEESH! |
