Yay, new toys are here. The yari extension is interesting, although eventually it's not going to be used on its own but rather with two more and a specific saber. 36" blade on the Apprentice V4 that I first hooked it up to is just LONG on a super long handled saber like this.
Lots of neat bits and pieces to be used on the empty hilt.
Time to play around now.

Huzzah! My saber has shipped for real! And it's 4 pounds, for the record  . Unfortunately with 2 day shipping, it won't be here til Monday. Now comes the longest 4 days of all... XD |

From Spade's timeline it looks like they're pretty much sticking to about a 2-week time frame. At least I hope that's true. If so I'm about half-way home... :-)

as an update to my time line it is currently in a fedex facility in new jersey. its about 200-300 miles away from me. |

With the exception of a few outliers, it seems as if US is nearly the end of the Dec (Fabrication) orders and getting on a start on sending those Jan 2016 orders out with each passing day.
Patience is key but this doesn't stop me from refreshing my order page on US's website while trying to be patient.
That is why I fail.

I just saw an opportunity to use that Yoda quote but it's ok because I know if it wasn't today, it could possibly be the next day. Given their high reputation and the overwhelming support for US on this forum, I know I have nothing to worry about.
I suppose I fail because I can't stop checking the order status even though I know damn well I'll get an e-mail.
