That's what baffles me. They didn't prepare the new hilts (leia's, last rey's...) to sell them. This is suicide...
US' empress was the first saber I saw that was based onto it and it looks accurate enough for me so far. I have since seen another one that could power on/off with the rotation switch... Oh well. It will be my first US =D
There could be legal reasons behind making a 100% screen accurate version? I'm not sure. Either way, the inspiration and execution is clear whose is what. And it's an interpretation OF it. Which I'm totally cool with. Will be my first as well.  |

Just for kicks I looked up sword exericises and found a couple different plans online. So just tell the folks that doubt your obsession that they are training tools and you want to get fit or stay in shape.
Not far from the truth as to why we decided to get sabers, don't get me wrong I am a Star Wars geek but we thought it would be a good reason to get out and get some exercise lol |

Well, I couldn't help myself...earlier today, I sent an email to US thanking them for getting my order out, but also nervously checking to make sure the upgrade order to my Frankensaber was taken care of.
And I just got an email from Aria confirming that, yes indeedy, the upgrades were done as requested.

Shipping Notification received by US and Fed Ex! It’s gonna arrive when I’m in Vegas so I won’t get to see my new babies until Thursday, but I’ll make sure to post pics and videos! For those wondering my order was a Diamond Controller The Fallen with a standard Emitter, a $75 mystery box, the free initiate and the free grab bag, so I know some of what I’m getting, but 3/4 of the order will be a surprise!

Disney being Disney, I'm sure they will....last time we were in Disney World was in 2018, and they had a TON of Star Wars merchandise for sale, especially in Downtown Disney, where all the shops are. I'm sure they'll have Rey's and Leia's lightsabers ready to be sold before long, either the toy versions, or the Force FX versions. Hell, they've got everybody else's. |

I mean, they very well could have. Shortly before the COVID shutdown, they released Ben Solo's original lightsaber (one I want BADLY!), and could have had more in the pipeline. But also, the official storyline of Galaxy's Edge takes place between TLJ and TROS, so thematically, they likely couldn't carry a real 'Empress' without changing that. However, they absolutely could carry a 'Princess.' |
