Hello all you Jedi and Sith types out there. There has a been a bit of discussion about protective equipment. So I have scoured one of my main airsoft supply sites, and picked out the most fitting equipment.
Ill try and include a brief blurb about why it would make good protective equipment. And Ill try to include a few different types of gear for each section, hands, head, chest etc.
First up, head protection. Keep your eyes and your teeth inside the vehicle at all times :-D
First, basic mesh airsoft goggles, metal is steel, about 1mm thick, as i stated holds up to .20 bbs at 500fps
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=3565Neoprene lower mask, looks kinda like a sith breather, but itll still protect your teeth, great in conjunction with the mesh goggles
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=3264Mesh option, same idea, i have taken many shots that would have knocked out my teeth and been saved by wearing this exact one, better breathability than the neoprene too
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=2839Same mesh, but this one has ear covers as well, so a misplaced saber strike doesnt cause you to look like a rugby player
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=2095Full head mesh, pretty comfortable to wear, pretty durable too
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=2970These last two are a hard plastic shell, i dont like them as much because of the reduction in vision, but they are padded, adn you can add more padding easily enough with a kit for bike helmets

Firstly this would be my primary choice, its a bit more articulated, looks BA and has some back protection as well
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=3595Very basic, very comfy, and they come with foam strike plates inside to absorb impact
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=219basic, durable, and a little bit more range of motion
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=968And finally hands
I use these, good grip, carbon fiber protects the knuckles. not as much finger protection, but its the knuckle shots that kill me
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=520more overall finger protection, i personally dont like the grip, but i know some who really like them
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=473same glove, fingertipless for better control, in exchange for slightly more risk
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=472all leather, bit of knuckle and finger padding, they look huge on the hand model, but the site is from hong kong so thats probably part of it just size wise
http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=261Hope this helps everyone out, dont neccisarily have to use this site, but its one i was able to find pretty much everything i had in mind on, keep your bits safe people, if you are going to be doing any sport dueling, or even flow dueling a bit harder than normal, wear something at least, for protective equipment.
Thanks for reading everyone.
