That is quite a collection you have amassed in such a short time!  I totally agree with your comment about a hilt feeling wrong when holding at a con.  I did a review that since has been deleted cause I think I was too honest regarding my comic con experience handling various hilts.  But anyway, the warglaive used to be at the top of my want list, but after holding it at a con, it just wasn't right for me.  Not saying it is bad and could be perfect for someone else, but I just didn't get that warm fuzzy.  And the menace was one that I really hadn't considered much and ran up to the top of my list after handling at a con.  It just felt like it was right for me, kind of hard to explain but I know you know what I mean.  So it is quite helpful to feel the merchandise sometimes.

Good to know about the Menace, EB, and I understand well what you mean. The Arbiter felt that way to me and now I have both and love that hilt. I'm afraid I was distracted from looking at other hilts like those on my wishlist while I was at Con last weekend.  Had my family with me, had a lot to see and do and barely managed to get my Curved Reaper. Wishing I had looked at the Catalyst, the Menace and the Bane.

Its only been a little over two weeks since I got my first one and I'm freaking BROKE! But who needs food when you have an Aeon V4 in Tri Arctic blue with an orange illuminated black AV switch and V4 sound plus a Dominix V4 in Tri Fire Orange with a blue illuminated silver AV switch with V4 sound on the way?

Great collection for sure, but if I had to choose to borrow only one of each of your collection I would go with the Raven saberstaff and the Kyrathalia's Deathcry.  Those are particularly eye catching for me!

Made a slight mod to a couple of sabers in the collection today.
I put the new Dark Dorinian pommel on my Dark Shock, and on T'Kasha's Hope

T'Kasha's Hope is on top. It started life as a Dark Catalyst.
Still havene't found a character oif mine that fits the Dark Shock yet

So you have enough sabers, perhaps you could answer this question for me.
Do any of your sabers have significantly lower volume or different speaker cones/membranes?
I sent in an Aeon V4 and ordered a Dpminix V4 while waiting. I got the Aeon back on the same day I received my Dominix. The speaker cone on  Aeon is not what it originally came with, the Dominix had the same cone the aeon originally had. I wouldnt care that much but the Aeon is much lower volume. I have checked in the launcher and everything is at 100% volume. Any thoughts? Thanks.

First thing I'd do with a Scorpion is lose the claw. I'm not a big fan of those, either on the Scorpion or the Reaper.

Same here, never cared for the claws on a saber.  Looks out of place to me

Part of why I was originally looking to flip the Raven's claws, but that takes milling new slots in order for it to work

First, let me sayyou’ve got a great collection going.

Secondly, I really want to get the Electrum wind as well, but probably won’t get the chance to hold it first. But I really like the model, so if it becomes more of a collector’s shelf piece, I’m okay with that. But as far as doing any sort of dueling or spinning, I totally get what you’re saying about how it feels in the hand. I’ve had those good and bad feelings with swords in the past. It’s like test driving cars, you know the ones that are going to perform they way you want them to.

I love claws on my sabers as you might have guessed, but to each his own.  ;)

I like to go to the cons and handle as many of their sabers as I can.  The feeling of the menace in my hand blew me away and was a main reason I decided to get an azure one with diamond.

That azure does look amazing. I like the claws too...just not on the bottom like the Reapers have. But since that is easily removed or changed out for a different pommel, it’s a great looking saber!

I couldn't appreciate the Bane with the pictures that US has on their site but seeing it in your video and your own pictures of it, I really like it.

Some More additions, as I realized I hadn't updated this thread in awhile

Modified T'Shalla's Herald for a better look
I cut goatskin into strips that were about 1/4" wide and glued them into place on the hilt with E6000 adhesive.
Due to the size of the goatskin piece, I wound up having to cut 3 strips for each hilt section.
The end result, though a little rough in appearance, is almost exactly what I was looking for.

Here, we have the saberstaff I call "Paladya's Storm."
This is the pair of Initiate V5s with Obsidian Lite sound in Sundrider's Destiny that I received a couple of days ago.
I used Aluminum Black to darken the grip and choke sections.
Then, after some cleanup using steel wool, I sealed them with a matte finish and connected them with an older vented coupler I had

My Bane came in Guardian Blue, and I changed that to Fire Orange with an LED purcahes through Ultrasabers for that purpose.

T’Shalla’s Herald along with Paladya’s Storm are two good looking saber staff. I would love to hear about their owners’ stories and how they came about one day.  Based on the weathering alone, I take it the stories are going to be quite exciting. I also like the Bane with the new FO blade as well

Each character saber is based on one of the characters I played in the game at some point

That Raven staff really is a beast :P I could use a slanted shroud for my Dominix V2 saber as well. I don't have the tools to make one anymore though x.x

The Grand Master makes a beast of a staff as well

The shroud I used for my old Dominix was PVC pipe, so easier to cut

Made another "adjustment" to the look of the Wrath just prior to FanX last week.
Gave in to temptation and added a leather wrap to the hilt and accented the wrap with some o-rings.

The 'off-kilter' o-ring by the activation box is intentional. I felt it both finished the overall look, and added to the 'field built' feel of the saber
