Yes I walked from Kyoto to Kagoshima.
はい、京都から鹿児島まで歩きました (Sorry. I don't write well in japanese)

It's about 1000 km. But I was not in a rush so I stopped in many cities on the way to visit (Nara, Osaka, Kobe, Okayama, Hiroshima, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Nagasaki and others)

In Switzerland the weather is hot now but not as much as Japan.
