Yes, this is my first. Knowing I'm getting is what makes it so bad. I wish I didn't know so I wouldn't be thinking about it all day and when it came in it would be a real surprise.
So I got a response about the term "Ready to Ship"
"Ready to ship just means that we have verified that we have the parts in stock and your order is in the fabrication queue. I apologize for any misunderstanding."

so does that mean fabrication time(2-4 weeks) starts when "processing"turns to "ready to ship or...? I'm on day 13 in total but day 6 from when first saw "ready to ship". I'm gonna pass out if thats true>>>I (we) have been waiting so long lolol. |

I have seen a few posts that have confirmed their items have been marked as shipped. I think I saw an order placed on Dec. 29th that was sent out so US is making a dent through the holiday orders, that much is certain.
I placed my order on 1/2/16 so I hope by end of the week I'll get that nice shipping notification.

I suspect that an saber built on a saber without a removable (normally MHS) emitter is a little trickier than one that IS removable. Compound that with Emerald drivers, recharge plugs if you've got em, configuring colors, flash, and pulse if you ordered those to be turned on, etc. I waited a couple weeks, I think, for my Emerald Flamberge with recharge port, and that was in early December, before the holidays threw another hiccup into the mix.

At this point, none of us knows where they're at in clearing the backlog. And let's face it, they've been putting out a stupid amount of orders every month, so to be keeping it to just a week or three for most orders is amazing. It's telling, though, that we're all distressed by a few weeks, when most sabersmiths out there have wait lists of half a year or far, far longer. |
