Unfortunately no-one's going to be home on Tuesday, and it looks like that fee has to be paid before I can change a delivery date/site, so I probably can't collect over the weekend, either. It's fine. Whatever the prize is, no matter how awesome my Flamberge is, I can be patient. Not like I have any choice  |

Yeah, stuff happens. I do have other sabers, and the gift for my son isn't needed for 9 months. I'm just glad we're not a week out from Chrstmas, or I'd be up the creek. I'm going to overnight it to them today, so hopefully by this time next week I'm armed and ready for more destruction, er, skill building. |

Thanks, everyone. I try to stay pretty resilient. Years if sports as an athlete, coach, referee and administrator have taught me you can't dwell on stuff too long. You have to keep thinking, "Next play. Next move. Next call." I also think back to my soccer days, if we got fouled, but play needed to continue, the ref would yell, "Play on!" Good life lessons in those two words.
If these had been my first 2 sabers, I would have been a lot more upset, but since they're not, I know I'll be just fine.

My sabers have left Stansted in UK.... and i would assume will be hitting Brighton any hour now. THEY ARE A MERE HOUR AWAY. Yet i must wait until Tuesday next week after the Easter bank holiday. I have never wanted to wish a bank holiday away soo much This will be a looooooooong 4 day weekend.  |
