Sweet deal, chalion. That looks like it's going to be an awesome Graflex. I can say from experience that the Consular and Emperor's Hand are both fantastic. I concur with SFD. I own both of those and they are awesome. |

I don't know about the Consular, but, I absolutely love my Emperor's hand. It is my absolute favorite saber and I have in the diamond controller configuration. Actually, it's the only Diamond Sabre I have. I have absolutely no regrets and I know you would love it.

As far as premium movie inspired hilts go, you'd be hard pressed to find one more comfortable to wield than the Consular.

I was tempted to order the Consular, but I have my 3 - V5's on order (all diamond, 2 with RGB-A) and didn't want to order another diamond saber during this event. I almost cancelled the Graflex CE order, but it always pulled my interest and wanted to scratch that itch now so I could have it for Halloween. Too many of my non-diamond sabers are blue, so I wanted something a bit different and my stunt Archon v3.1 in tri-cree consular green always looked good, but the location of the led module (to me), makes the light a bit less bright than one just at the emitter. So the Graflex CE is my experiment to see how good the CG is in tri-cree compared to the Archon v3.1.

Pulled the trigger on a Graflex CE with Tri-cree consular Green, Obsidian v4 white ill. av switch and bronze buttons.
Been fighting the urge to buy it, but finally had my moment of weakness.
Leaves 3 sabers on my wish list. Dark Monarch, Consular & Emperor's Hand.
(well, 4 or 5 others, but that's the extended list).
Well as someone who started with a Graflex CE as his first purchase, it's awesome, though you went with the brighter green vs me with regular consular green, and the V4 sound mine is v3, and I got a regular black switch and chrome buttons, but either way as I started the graflex CE is awesome. |
