They are shockingly difficult to find anywhere. None even in Custom Saber Shop
They are very few but I'd like to see some (even though I can't afford one yet) However just to motivate US a little, here is my latest "Emitter"...  The plates/prongs could be bent outta shape a little but so can claws. |

they are very hard to find anywhere. It makes me think there might be structural reasons. :-/
I'm not a saber builder or engineer, but I wouldn't imagine there would be any structural issues. It's more likely that US just simply hasn't come up with a design that incorporates one, or has and just hasn't pursued that design for whatever reason. |

You're probably right. Honestly, I see it as more of a shroud anyway. I'd love to see them take something like the Butcher, delete the claws so the "core" is without the long grooves, then add an emitter like the one For Tyeth posted to it, with maybe an activation box, etc... It would be pretty epic looking.
Or as an add-on to an Aeon...

You're probably right. Honestly, I see it as more of a shroud anyway. I'd love to see them take something like the Butcher, delete the claws so the "core" is without the long grooves, then add an emitter like the one For Tyeth posted to it, with maybe an activation box, etc... It would be pretty epic looking.
Or as an add-on to an Aeon...
Those would both be AWESOME! |

Hi Infinit and Racona, Thanks Infinit glad you liked my "Temple" emitter, it is off my Fallen Order inspired hilt "Dishonoured" but I prettied it up a bit. I have also used this emitter on a new 3D build coming soon. To Racona, the Fallen Order hilt we have seen so far does have a damaged pommel but there is this image of the prototype mock up for the hilt. The picture was (allegedly) posted by the game designer who was 3D modelling the weapon. It shows a pommel of sorts (maybe the male part of a staff coupler?) and a leather wrap.  And below is my 3D render using my "Dishonoured" hilt I mention above.  However with some of the "other guys" and a few 3D Print Sites having produced and released versions of the Fallen Order hilt already maybe US want to design something different and unique instead. |

(50mA) 50 milliampere = 0.05 ampere ...................................for the sake of simplicity, 50mA will be able to support one illuminated AV switch, small LED, or a battery monitor. Not a high output LED that the main channels use. |

I always wondered why an activation box like from the movies uses the button on the top, instead of on the side (I know, aesthetics). They do make momentary rocker switches that are small (1/2" long, 1/4" wide, 1/4" tall) enough to fit in the side. It would also allow more room in the hilt. I myself would rather have micro switches sometimes in builds. Some of the "other" sound cards have micro switches on the board, so I know they work.
As for the 2 prong emitter. I'd be all for that. 3d printed ones would be easy cause they could just be bolted on after fabrication. Metal semi-curved can be done, but is a little more difficult. Taking a flat thick sheet and milling it down to simulate a curve would be highly wasteful of material (hence more cost), but sectioning a say, 2 inch aluminum tube and cutting panels to size would be cheaper and easier (basically cutting windows out of the tube, but keeping the windows).

This will probably never happen but here goes: I would love to see a Guardian with the colors all reversed, where everything that is silver today is black, and everything that is black is instead silver. Except perhaps the pommel, that could stay the same.
Sort of the Guardian version of the black Graflex....

A Ventress hilt would be sweet. However, I prefer Dark Disciple for the name.
As a show piece only. I don't even want to think about cosplaying while carrying sabers with corners, let alone dueling with them. I'm sorry to say that Ventress' sabers in TCW were horribly designed conceptwise. They are bulky and unergonomic. Now the original round tube style from the comics....  Unless you could make them small, with large radiused corners.  I'm curious. How many of you would be interested if US "borrowed" a clam-shell design to produce a curvier curved hilt? |
