So I want to display my sabers on my wall, right.....should I worry at all about prolonged exposure to sunlight causing discoloration in the hilt and/or blade?

I know when displaying figures and collectables, you want to prevent the sun from bleaching them out.  Does the same apply to lightsabers?

I don't think it should be a problem.

agreed.  generally, plastics will react to sunlight exposure over time.  The blade may have issues but i would be surprised if you were still around to see it happen.  This would mean you need get it off the wall and hit something with it.  Smiley

Direct sunlight can, over time, fade ANYTHING.   If you're going to be putting it in a place that gets direct sunlight I'd consider taking it down periodically and rotating it, to even the exposure.
Other than that, you should be good.  The hilts are pretty tough, the coatings hold their color really well.   I have a Dominix V3 that is several years old, and outside of a few scratches from use its still looks really nice.  :-)
