Hey all. Here's my video review of the Prophecy v3. This is my first video review. I actually shot the video twice. The first video went really well but was very dark, so I had to move to a new area with more lighting. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Great review! ive never been a huge fan of the non traditional blade colors, but this video totally changed that! the orange is beautiful! thanks for the post!

Concerning the off blade color -- It seems to me that the resistance on the red needs to be decreased. I found that 17.5 ohms on the red is damn near perfect for PO.

A couple things.

1.  Said this before, but it's a friggin awesome saber.  I love Pyrestone with the red AV, it's a killer combo.  In fact, lately I've been a big fan of having just the slightest bit of contrast between the AV switch and the blade color... really gives a neat effect.

2.  The grooves are really nice on this hilt, actually greatly superior to the V2 version IMO.  Not as deep, and not as sharp, they're much nicer in the hand.

3.  I agree with you on the pommel, that sucker makes it LOUD!

4.  The bezel on the switch does rattle a bit, and that's a bit annoying.  However, I wouldn't worry about it falling off, because I have this type of switch on both my Consular and my Dark Prophecy and have NEVER had an issue other than noticing the movement during sparring.

5.  Good choice on the 32" blade, it works well with that hilt.  Makes an excellent single hander.  I end up using the 36" more on my own, but that's just a personal preference.

6.  The color is interesting... I too would have expected Pyrestone to be a bit more reddish, but then that's why it's a forum color.  As JM mentioned, changing the resistance will alter the color (although I believe the resistor is on the green die, though I'm not sure), so that's an option if you have any skills in soldering.  I would certainly understand if you didn't want to tinker though, because that is one awesome hilt!

Have you tried your Overlord Pommel on it yet so that you don't have the hole from the standard pommel?
