But I must stress that as QD's aren't offered by US, it's very important to ask US to be absolutely sure that they'll fit. My understanding is that if US don't offer it, it can still be possible (eerock, for example, has installed them on his Guardian) but you can have problems fitting everything into the hilt.

^To remove the led you would need to remove the wires and sound card and the switch then reassemble the whole saber.

Okay so I emailed Ultrasabers and Emory has told me that the LED can be taken out of the emitter easily.

So I am going to purchase a Monarch in Bane's Heart, and with it buy a red LED. I'm going to install the disconnects myself (or rather call my dad and get him to do it because I have no experience with soldering and he does  )

Ill post some pictures of it when it arrives.

Awesome choices! If you take out the blade, loosen the retention screw, and gently turn the saber upside down, the LED will slide out nicely, just as it did in my Guardian and my son's Prophecy. Can't wait to see your results!
