OK, I recently learned the secret of the "Forum Colors" available on sabers.  Unfortunately, this comes too late for me, because my purchases took place before I was even a member of the forum.  However, I was insightful enough to include Quick Disconnect on my VA Raven (it also has Silver FOC).

So, my question would be, is it possible to buy just a DVA LED unit, and swap them out?

YUP.

All you need to do is order the LED module the way you would the saber and specify that you need that converted to DVA.

On a side note, you can get the same Flash On Clash options as the VA.  The DVA is not listed on the chart as to what colors are available.   QD's are the greatest.
