I'm new to all of this but a long time Star Wars/Lightsaber fan. I'm going to order a saber from Ultrasabers and i am wondering if anyone knows if you can install a belt clip on a saber?

A clip like on the hasbro toys? Or as in a Covertec knob (you also need the covertec clip)? A solution I came up with was using a Rubber O-ring that is slightly too big, I bought it to customize my saber but it was too loose, by mistake I found that if I put it on my belt it will hold my Dominix V2 tight enough for movement and I can pull it out plenty fast, and it retains it's shape and strength. It only works though if the emitter or base is larger, so what kind of saber are you looking to order?

If you would like a covertech installed put a note in your order or email deep or ultra and they can hook you up.

Once i get them, i want to construct some sort of shoulder harness so that my saber would be right behind my right shoulder. Just something a little different  Grin

I have some black armor that i wear for costume. I made a cover piece in the back with four holsters to hold four of my sabers at a time. Worked pretty well. Just had to take them all out to duel. For a belt clip, maybe a d-ring style type like the Luke ROTJ.

Sure, just need to find some. They hold pretty well. I made the holder out of sheet metal and attached it to my regular armor, so, it all depends on what you have it on, i.e. it wouldn't hold too well if you strap a holster to your shirt, but if you have a stable outer wear (armor, straps - more than one) and bind it well, than no problem. Basically I found some PVC that held the blade in place well. Tricky part was taking the saber out, since the blade may be long. Easy fix was creating the back holster a little lower.

Couldnt find any back pictures, sadly, and I cant find the piece (sorry, change costumes a lot). Basically it was a piece of sheet metal I sized, cut, and painted, then attached to the back of the armor piece.

Thank you. If you need any sketches or any other ideas, I can draw you up some and tell you where to go from there. It isnt that hard, just need the right support/materials.
