Title: Darth X'Aurek's Lightsaber Post by: Datron on April 16, 2017, 12:07:53 PM A year ago last December, I got my first Ultrasaber (and some for the wife and kids, too!). I loved it. I still do!
But it wasn't really "mine", there wasn't much in the way of customization. It needed something else. So I ordered some parts, and made it my own! (http://i.imgur.com/7qymu9F.jpg) (http://imgur.com/7qymu9F) I still want to weather it, and I'm thinking of adding some leather to it. But even as it stands right now, I'm pretty happy with it! I tried to just put the claws on top of the Menace emitter, but without the flat disk part they just spin around. And the renegade pommel is one of my favorites, but it didn't lie flush with the Dark Menace body. Then I realized I could put the menace emitter on the bottom, and then the renegade pommel on that. I didn't realize the top section was separate on that emitter as I don't own one. Another point for ingenuity! Brilliant work :)

Point for sharing that, sir. 😉 The silver background in the window on the Menace really adds a way to "terminate" the hilt. The War Glaive emitter works well here. I'd only do one thing different: I would use the black War Glaive emitter with the Silver Claws to tie in with the Silver window accent of the Menace.
