Archon v3 Activation Box Mod Questions/Assistance, please

Hello.  I've been looking at the US Archon v3 saber which is a fantastic piece as-is but I'm thinking of modding it w/ a graflex clamp/activation box.  I wanted to know (from those members who are more mechanically inclined/have possibly done what I'm thinking about) what hardware works best, either as a replica project or even just as a practical application to complete the conversion?  Thanks
