Title: Saber wallet concept Post by: BoridrenDurist on October 22, 2018, 02:33:06 AM I've been thinking of ways to carry money during a con without an actual wallet on me and a thought came to me almost out of nowhere... what if I do some modifications to an empty hilt so that when I unscrew the pommel my valuables are right there. What do you guys think?

Title: Re: Saber wallet concept Post by: Infinit01 on October 22, 2018, 01:17:41 PM Sounds like a good idea, you can use a smaller hilt like the Initiate or Apprentice, heck even the V2 sabers would work.

That's what I was thinking, Maybe a Dark ini V3 Le to match my new saber... Just a though.

Just a though. I say blade plug on the emitter end and the store the bills through opening up the pommel with a D-ring or covertech wheel attached to hilt. That is what I was thinking, but Gumby's idea is pretty cool. Maybe a hinged blade plug? Title: Re: Saber wallet concept Post by: Therion Jinn on October 23, 2018, 02:53:20 AM Definitely a good idea

I like that idea too, Fedora. Nice going, Gum. I'm getting ideas to do something like this in a future con now. Points out to everyone. Title: Re: Saber wallet concept Post by: imgumby001dammit on October 23, 2018, 01:26:12 PM I have a piece of blade left over from chopping the blade on yaddles escape saber. Maybe I’ll try to find something suitable to be a hinged lid and see how it works. There’s so much crap laying around my big shop there might be something good just lying on the floor!
Title: Re: Saber wallet concept Post by: Golden Fedora on October 23, 2018, 01:45:24 PM I saw someone use old arcade coins as caps for blade plugs. you could do something like that.

I think an empty hilt with the money where the batteries would be is the best way to go. |
