Hi,
At the recent Comic Con New York, i bought myself a nice little saber, and oh I'm quite happy for it.
but, i figured I'd take a peek at how to change batteries, took a look at the FAQ video, and followed the steps to
open, and get aces to the battery pack, but, when i take it out, taking care not to pull the wires beyond their safe limit, the
battery pack is strange. there's a strip of velcro, which i assume is for fitting to the hilt tube, good idea.
Then the batteries themselves, seems to be taped in with electrical tape, not exactly making them easily changeable?
Or am i missing something quite obvious?

You can remove the Velcro and the Tape from the top and bottom. The tape is to prevent the batteries from being jolted while in transit. It is ideal to tightly tape the battery holder, once you install new AAA Alkaline batteries, at the top and bottom like they are now.
