My guess is it'll be picked up by FedEx tomorrow and will probably be delivered Monday or Tuesday, I'll have to reroute it like I did the other two orders.  Stay tuned...

Still waiting on empty Lost Gray and Consular from April 10th.

I did finally get a response to an email, though.  "Our Lost Gray hilts are currently delayed at our Machine Shop, but we are expecting to have them 8-10 weeks." That was sent on 9/24.

So I shot an email to check the status of Lost Gray and Fulcrum (knowing they are still a ways off but wanting to check there have been no further slippages) and the reply as of this morning is 9-11 weeks (longer than what's posted above).  So the chances of having by Christmas are slim to none despite ordering "in stock" items (which have remained listed as in stock this entire period) with a 3-4 week "fabrication" window in May.  Now I get Corona has impacted world supply chains, but 1 month vs 7 months is not really acceptable.  Especially when they know full well they are out of stock but keep selling them.

Now by complete coincidence, the blades for some hilts someone bought me from Galaxy's Edge and shipped to Australia via USPS in August arrived today (the hilts last month) so at least I have something to play with.

And in a further coincidence, I also got a shipping notice today for a full Neopixel set up I ordered in late July from one of the "other guys".  They disclosed a 16 week lead time at the time of ordering and have delivered in 12 weeks (US is now on week 21 with at least 9-11 more weeks to go).

I am sure I am going to love my US sabers when they finally arrive, but, the purchasing experience has not been a good one.  Every other company I've seen is being transparent with their timeframes at the point of order and not taking orders for hilts that are out of stock.  Setting an expectation and failing it seven fold is not good business practice.  I will say the US customer services has been great (once able to get in a conversation with them).  They have been friendly and helpful, offering apologies and alternatives (the only other blades I might be interested in are also well out of stock).  I know CS are working their butts off and probably dealing with a lot of anger so I hold them in the highest regard maintaining such a friendly and positive attitude to the customers.  They all deserve pay rises.  The decision makers who chose to keep taking orders they know can't be delivered within promised timeframes (either by not marking "back order" and by choosing to keep saying 3-4 weeks fabrication), well I don't have kind words for them.

I think this has been my biggest detraction to US so far. Why quote 3-4 weeks for fabrication when it ends up being way longer. If it had said 12-16 week fabrication when I ordered, I would have had a better idea of what to expect as a realistic time frame.

Trust me, I think you'll find that even the staunchest fans of Ultrasabers will agree with this one.  Yes, the CS reps are doing their damndest, but if they'd update the website better, it would take care of most of the emails they receive.

Congrats, Phoenix!  The fabled Golden Ticket!  Which saber is this again, and for whom?

Dominix LE v5, set up with tri-cree green and Obsidian v4; a Christmas gift for my brother.  No more orders for now until after the holidays.

Estimated time of delivery is Wednesday,  I'll do the unboxing when the opportunity arises.

I agree 100%. That sets realistic expectations. I also ordered from a competitor company since I really liked one of their hilts. They straight up said 12-15 weeks.
As it stands, I ordered Sept 1st and I was told on Oct 8th that mine was still 9 to 11 weeks away.

Fair point there!  IF mine ships on Monday, I'm not totally sure when I'd receive it.  I opted for the free standard shipping, so I'm hoping by the end of next week, but hell it may be a whole week out!  If yours does come in on Wednesday I'd say you have a decent chance of beating me to the punch XD

My last two orders were Free Shipping, and I've never had a problem; they were picked up at the company by FedEx on a Monday, and I had them in hand by Thursday that same week, and I live in New England, so it's a bit of a hike from Texas.  The difference between free shipping and 2-day is that you have to wait maybe an extra day. 

To be fair, things might work differently if the order is going overseas, but in the continental U.S., I don't think the extra cost for 2-day shipping is worth it.
