I have been given information from a rep at US that there are possibly a few new
sabers being released this year.
Anyone care to venture a guess as to what they may be?
I'm hoping for an Obi-Wan inspired episode three and four saber.

Maybe the tonfa saber and the curved reaper? Think next year is more likely than this year, only 56 days left this year. |

A hilt has either a twist design all the way up that comes out in spikes around the emitter or a hilt with a knot work design on it.

Can you post a link to that :O *Edit* OOPs nvm Seems more like an accessory than a new saber. I'd love to see US drop something unexpected. Another guys just dropped a really nice Dooku hilt and there's also a lot of the "Clan" sabers about to hit the market. Now, I know US is about dueling sabers, so I'd love to see a killer original design. |

I don't know about the darksaber being a great hilt. The boxy design of it, in my opinion, would make it uncomfortable to wield in the hands. Now I would really like to see a saber with the rounded guard, like on a samurai sword. I think it is called a Tsuba.....can anyone clarify me on that? I would love to see a hilt with this incorporated into it or make it optional with the MHS line of sabers. I really enjoyed the one on Star Wars Rebels...the one carried by Ezra's Jedi master, I forget his name. |

Tsuba yes. Darksaber would actually be sweet from US's  I'd like to see their take on it. there is a supplier that does dueling versions of the blade now but wont mention names so yeah. Would be totally doable I think. Imagine one in Blazing Red with the black in the middle of the blade I agree though we need more Clan lightsaber inspired designs rather than just the Shocks. I love mine for now though so |

Issue with the Darksaber is the same as Ahsoka's Katana hilts, they are rounded rectangles and thus don't fit US's adherence to MHS specs. That having been said, installs into those type hilts are very cool to see  |
