Hey guys,


I've wanted a lightsaber for forever and i've been on and off this site for years but Yesterday i finally took the plunge and ordered two Mystery sabers boxes! I know i could have gotten what i wanted for the price of 2 and shipping but i really want to savour the moment and really get excited to see what colour i get when i ignite it for the very first time! (Hoping for red and if im lucky enough to get a sound one is probably lose my mind!!).

Im in my 30's now and built myself a little SW shelf of little things i like to collect so these sabers will be front and centre i got the stands with them so i cant wait to see what they look like! I've flirted with the idea of getting a saber for so long but what twisted my arm is im going to do a unboxing vid on my YT channel so i can share in my excitement and my daughter who's 6 loves SW so im sure she'll love to see a proper saber instead of the cheap plastic one's she has (she's a little sith lord so thats why i went for 2 MB instead of the $200 even though i could have sound i couldn't ;D resist the chance to have a wee little duel)!

I keep clicking refresh till they get here and im tangibly more excited as time goes on! So yeah 1st time buyer here :) I'd love to know how you guys fared with the Mystery box if you've gotten them and also how you guys came to own your first saber.

Hello and welcome to the forum, Aaronle!  You're surrounded by good people here who will always point you in the right direction with buying more sabers in mind ;).   I look forward to seeing both you and your daughter in an un-boxing video and don't worry, the saber(s) will arrive in no time since UltraSabers is currently restocking their Mystery Box inventory. As for me, my very first saber is the Dark Initiate V4 with the Guardian Blue blade, that saber will always hold a special place in my heart, you will never forget your first! Lol. That was the first, then I ordered a second, third, ninth, and now I have over 17 sabers!! Welcome again!

The first saber is extremely exciting and there is nothing like that first one but I have found all of them are just as exciting. I just placed my third order and I am just as excited as my first.

The mystery box method seems to be popular so you went a good route.

Hello and welcome to the forum. My 1st saber (mystery box) was a Dominix LE v4 stunt with Consular Green blade. It's the only stunt saber I have. Very special to me. I currently have about 20 sabers and each one gave me that kid in a candy store feeling. Looking forward to your video unboxing.

I was looking at the Dark Apprentice LE v4 with a red blade as my first saber but the price and the thought of maybe getting a sound sabre in the M Box swayed me to go in that direction so heres hoping lol.

im already thinking of a personalised 3rd blade or a duel wield and these haven't even come yet haha my excitement lvl right now is unreal.

Thanks. It's a side-effect of a digital camera. The blade doesn't look that good to the naked eye. It is a mid-grade Ultraedge.

Camera or not it still looks pretty incredible to me!

Welcome to the club! Just got my first sabers about a week ago and I'm about to turn 39, I don't buy many "toys" but when I do, I buy cool ones. On top of that, I'm tired of coming up with new Halloween costumes every year, now I always know what I'm going to be and can even change it up by being different races of alien Jedi.

Thats awesome i was only thinking of the saber but now i want the whole set a robe a mask damn it!! lol

Thank you im so excited to finally get my own saber and start collecting them i've taken the plunge with two M boxes to get me started!!
My 1st time so im hoping i get lucky and get a saber with sound i've been sat here watching unboxing vids past two days and man ive
not been this excited for something in ages!

What i will ask is if anyone knows how long a saber lights up for? my plan was to originally have the hilt on display with the stands on my SW self but i stream on twitch so i was thinking of having the sabers lit up on the wall behind me so was wondering how much life they have and is it possible to turn the sound off the saber if im incredibly lucky enough to get one?

A guy in his 30's geeking out? Hèhè, wait for the moment that you and you daughter have an early morning lightsaberdual while standing on  the chairs and breakfast table. Trust my I know ;)

Batterylifetime depends on the setup you'll get. But let's say you'll get the standard 4xAAA batterysetup on a Stunt saber you can expect a batterylife between 6 to 12 hours. I use rechargebles and they last around 8 too 12 hours. Sometimes a bit longer, sometimes a bit less, I blame the weather, 'cause I have no idea why the time fluctuates ;)

I’m in the same boat, 44 and I just ordered my first 2 ordered a mystery box with sound for myself and “The Lost Gray” with diamond controller for my 9 yr old who is head over heels for Ahsoka Tano and all things SW. I’m surprising her myself and the Mrs. who I failed to inform what I did. Lol. My lvl of excitement is also through the stratosphere! Can’t wait to see your unboxing. Welcome again.

The Mystery Box is a good bet.  The first saber we purchased from Ultra Sabers was a mystery box and we hit the jackpot.  Dark Arbiter with premium sound and the blade color is RED!!!  Amazing!!!  That is what hooked us.  Since then we have order 2 grab bags and built a Dark War Glaive and just ordered a new one.  Welcome to the family and please postbwhen yours arrives.

Absolutely! I’m super excited! I’ve wanted to dive into sabering and saber collecting and building for quite some time now. I couldn’t wait anymore!! Lol. I really do like the Dark Arbiter as well great surprise.

id probably die of happiness if i begged something like that im keeping my expectations low though as i've never been very lucky at winning things like ever lol but im still so hyped i cant wait till they get here a red saber with sound is the dream scenario though :P

quick question guys how long does it to process an order roughly?

been a week now im not complaining cuz i know the virus prob is affecting everything atm but im just so incredibly excited i want it here lol

also can someone plz explain the difference between the different soundboards to me diamond emerald ect and if the extra cost is worth it.

Mine took about a month to ship, I'm probably not the best to explain differences in soundboards, but I got the obsidian soundboard in one of my sabers and it is completely customizable. Can change sounds for every action and even program new actions to produce specific sounds. It has so much I'm still learning it. The diamond sabers are the top of the line versions, they come with the obsidian soundboard and customizable lighting so you can change it all.

I was looking for a post to explain it all but didn't see one, their site does have a lot of info and links to posts to explain different features.

Hey guys so they finally came!!!!!!!

I got Standard Saber V3 $75 (red) and a Dark Initiate v4 $65 (green)

Both feel great although i do wish the colours where the other way round red on a pure silver hilt feels wrong lol.

All in all im happy its hard not to feel a tad bit disappointed not to get one with sound but both hilts will look great in my case with the stands i got for them! My daughter loves them and when it gets dark later we're gonna have a little duel outside so i can get a bit of footage for my Youtube vid.

You've got that classic 'wow' in your eyes when igniting the lightsaber for the first time! Hitting yourself while spinning, definately will happen a lot! Duelling with your kid, best thing ever!

I agree me and my daughter where out there duelling for a good two hours messing about after she sat down and watched some SW rebels on TV duelling her and sharing my geekiness is the best feeling in the world as a dad.

Just ordered a Dark Apprentice LE v5 with a red blade lite sound and a light up red av switch im hyped to get it and i got a another mystery box!
would have gotten 2 MB but with the P&P being in the UK i simply cant afford it and i really wanted one with sound thats 4 sabers this month my mrs is goner kill me......

Please get video of yourself activating the sound saber for the 1st time! Trust me. It's worth the money.

It is SOOOOOOOO worth the cost for sound.

  So I got my first legit saber just 2 weeks ago and couldn't be any happier. The moment I got it, it occupied me for the rest of the night. Now i am having a small issue with it, i cant seem to remove the batteries. I watched the video o how to do it but none of those methods have worked. I have posted my inquiry on the other pages but noone seems to be getting back to me. I would greatly appreciate any help so I can return to enjoying my new saber. I purchased a Dark Apprentice v5 thanks again.

Okay so I have no clue where to start.

 I've loved starwars ever since i could remember and to have my own saber would be so awesome, and to build one  "Like your suppose to of your own two hands.". by the way Sith all the way..

But I was wondering about something the section of DIY if i get an emppty complete hilt. I can add the leds and sound cards and stuff at a alter time right? I'd like to start with just the hilt. for show right now and then slowly save upa nd build the rest of it. could soone give me some advice on where to start.?

I just got my first saber from Ultra Sabers and it is stunning! The Butcher! Everyone who has seen it thinks it awesome, wants to hold it, ignite it and you see the child inside of them light up as well. I swear if everyone on the planet had one of Ultra Sabers products I believe everyone would happy and stop all the other crazy nonsense out there. Mine was the black and silver hilt with windows, 36 inch blade (red), lite sound and red glow AV switch. I'm hooked and have already placed another order!

Im so excited to get one with sound coming up to a month now since i ordered it but i know that 2020 has just been crazy so far so i dont mind waiting but i'll be doing another box opening on YT when they get here!
