Title: Asajj Ventress post Clone Wars cosplay V1 Post by: Solstice Lacer on October 03, 2018, 11:42:28 PM So this is my first star wars cosplay as an adult. I have been several characters for Halloween growing up. Since Asajj Ventress' Clone Wars look is rather iconic, and I'm sure other people do it better, I decided to imagine a post Clone Wars version of her, to give me more ambiguity (and hair). I tried to keep my first version simple. I'd like to eventually add a holster and blaster pistol, maybe some bracers, possibly a different shirt. I also have a longer heavier cloak but I think it would be too warm. Here I am posing with my stand in/training saber, to be replaced by my sentinel. Also had to show off the boots. Hopefully not too bad for a first attempt.

Am really liking this more modern day version... far beyond the Clone Wars. You've got the intensity of her facial expression and even the tension that she holds in her body down quite well. Almost has a Highlander vibe to your look/feel even without a long coat. Your possible add on's should only improve this. :)

It’s funny how the cloak makes a whole world of difference. The make up on your face gives me an Asajj Ventress vibe. Have a point

The cloak looks great but what really makes the ensemble stellar is your combo of makeup and attitude! You're the spitting image of your avatar (apropos sentiments since you're going for a post-TCW Ventriss look!) :)
