I met the guys from Adelitas Way and Art of Dying a few years back. But that was free, since they actually stood in the lobby where everyone was exiting so they could sign cds and meet fans, no extra charge. Which was insanely cool of them.
Some of the members of Adelitas Way get on one of the local rock stations every once in a while (well, this IS their hometown, after all), and seem like pretty cool people. |

Well...unfortunately I just found out the money I was hoping for to be able to afford both a saber and a costume didn't come in. Maybe another time...but I have to do this thing called being an adult.  |

There actually are stores popping up (At least around Kansas City) that will buy gift cards for cash. They'll give you cash for the remainder of an existing balance (for a fee of course) or give you cash for a full, unused card (for a different fee.) The whole thing seems sketchy as hell to me... |

Yeah well...I'm kind of into this savings thing... On the upside I think I will at least have enough to get a decent base costume. The rest can come over time. Perhaps later in the year I might consider a grab bag just to see what all the noise is about.  |

I am thankfully over the cold...but I seem to have lost my gloves. I can think of a couple more places to check when I get back to work but if they really ARE gone I am going to be so aggravated. Not only is it cold today and I need them, I also need them for my Ren outfit.  |
