I went to a job placement company to get registered. The ONLY reason I did this was to get into one company. (It's the only way they take people)

So I spent about two hours there going through mountains of paperwork. Reading, signing blah blah.

Then I was given an aptitude test. That was annoying as well.

I was stuck in this cramped corner, so for the whole time I was doing all the paperwork, my .380 was digging into my side.

THEN when I was all done, they say "Yeah it's probably going to be a 3-5 month wait before they need more people."

Excuse me.. What? Why the HELL didn't you tell me that at the start? And you wanted ME to start paying YOU immediately for insurance when I won't have a job there for that long? Are you kidding me?

Oh and here's the best part. She says "You should have come in about two months ago. That's when they took people last."

I was in school two months ago.. It says it right there on the paper. Literally right in front of you is my graduation date.

It's not against the law in my state for people to take whatever photos they want outdoors in public, but that does NOT mean I am cool with the fact that I don't know what the purpose of your photos might be and the fact that anything you take a pic of on your phone might wind up on the Internet, creepy dude.

You're darned right you're running me off, and let's hope Barnes and Noble's property extends out onto the porch where they can tell the guy to either quit or move off their property.

Moments like this almost make me wish masks were publicly acceptable in this universe.

If I may make one suggestion in dealing with this, you can always say WWND (What Would Noctis Do)?  Her ideas may not always be the best (or in some cases legal) but she does get her point across.

It's sad people have to worry about this kind of stuff (and men, nothing to say you don't have to worry about it either even though it's stereotypically women who are targets of this kind of crap).  Like I said, this right here is an example of why I don't take my mask off in my Star Wars related stuff, that goes on the Internet.

In contrast, I've had a few times where a student or someone was doing a photography project and ASKED FIRST if they could take my picture and they were respectful when I said I'd rather they not.

At a con when I am cosplaying is a different matter: I go in expecting I could have my picture taken.  (Though it is still courtesy to ask first so a cosplayer has time to get ready for the photo.)  But other times...no, I'd rather not.

So on vacation this week in St. Thomas, Its Awesome , however cell phones can't maintain a signal for more than a min if you are lucky.unless your at the hotel.  Can't go old school because apperantly gas stations/ hotels don't have actual road maps anymore. Making me feel like it's back in the Army days trekking without a half decent geo map, cause some Lt back st HQ is fresh outta rotc and doesnt have a clue. Rest of week road trip until we either find our way around or run outta gas lol. Side note Rum makes it all better and rental car is a jeep if we need short cuts.
