Except that I bought it for the claw look haha, it makes it stand out and gives the wielder a mighty look. I think a leather wrap would look good on the black midsection. I just have a hard time convincing people it's not a Sith saber.  |

Yeah, sure we want to celebrate all yellows! If it's an unusual yellow though, just mention how you created it so no one who wants to buy a SY thinks they're going to get a blade that looks like yours.  |

Unfortunately I cannot currently provide new pics of my Shadow/ArbiDard, because it's currently disassembled, under ongoing modification, and the blade was left in Moscow when I moved (I'll return for it in late August).
And I got this color from a single-color LED I randomly and luckily found on an electronics market. It was marketed as "yellow".

Oh I thought it was from a filter, awesome find! What info do you have on it so we might be able to find it? That is a great color, its pretty much what I've been trying achieve with filters on my SY. |

The only marking on it reads "003". It's a 5 W, 1300-1500 mA LED. However, Darth Cooper has access to very similar LEDs, he used one in his famous lightfoil, so why not ask him where does he get them?
