New customer here. I will be joining the Yellow Legion soon. Ordered my first saber to test the waters. Grab bag hilt. Actually went with an Adegan Silver blade but for the purpose of making it yellow with Lee Filters. Sentinel Yellow is too warm for my taste and yellow filters don't seem to particularly interfere with the brightness of AS, at least from pictures and what people have said, so I figured I'd try it that way so I have options for different shades of yellow. Pics when my saber arrives.
I do have a question though: I went with ultra edge but I actually don't know if it's preferable to midgrade for yellows. What do you guys think? Since they're out of town right now I could probably still change my mind if necessary. Could someone who has an AS + yellow filter post a comparison pic?

Ultra-edge and standard edge is always matter of preference; personally I prefer a standard edge for SY - it feels sharper to me, and I like the 'core' effect. I think Blazing Red is the only exception - the majority of folks will tell you to avoid BR in Ultra-Edge - it gets washed out. Obviously there are still some Force users who prefer UE for BR though. |

I absolutely second every word of this post. SY is awesome in UE, but sings with a clear polycarb blade. The reds and oranges follow suit with this idea as well. BR only looks good on camera in UE, in my opinion. |

 I love yellow lightsabers! I think it's the fact that they aren't actually shown in the movies but yellow is a color of the Jedi Sentinel! This my Prophecy V3 with an Oklahoma Yellow LEE Filter! |

I have an Oklahoma Yellow filter myself for my AS Aeon V3. I like using it sometimes. Cool color.
