Nice. Never thought of that look for a Catalyst How easy was it to take off the stock emitter? The blade holder for the Catalyst is easy to remove however the LED assembly is not modular therefore the the collimator lens is "floating" on top of the LED. That said the collimator lens is weakly glued that it dropped from the original blade holder. The LED assembly is also floating on the choke. I had to center the collimator lens I used (from TCSS) on the shrouded blade holder to make sure I don't loose focus of the light. It was a bit of a nuisance to see this kind of assembly but whatever, I got my TCSS parts to work. Sorry, pretty long answer to your question. |
