What camera and what settings are you using to take these? Everytime I try to take a picture of all my sabers, all of the colors blend and look the same and are super bright.
I'm using a Canon T3i. The key is to shoot in full manual mode so you have complete control over image quality (ISO), exposure (shutter speed), and depth of field (f-stops). I generally lock my ISO in at 100 to give the image the best quality possible (higher ISOs will give you lots of nasty grain in low light) and do relatively short exposures. With the sabers being a bright as they are, it's easy to over expose them. I can't recommend a specific exposure to try because every shot requires a different setting; just keep it well under a second and start tweaking it from there until you get the image you want. Same goes for your f-stops. Depending on each image, you'll want to change your depth of field in accordance with what you want to focus of your image to be. If you want to focus on your whole saber, try a higher f-stop to get a greater depth of field. If you want to focus on one particular aspect of your saber, drop your f-stop down to get a much narrower depth of field.
Note: Both setting your ISO lower for better quality and your f-stop higher will generally result in longer exposure times, so use a tripod if you can!
I hope this helps you guys!
