Made this meme just for you, ed It ain't wrong. My wife (Gods bless her) is also working on screen-accurate Monster Maroon Star Trek uniforms. Those are the ones featured in Trek II through Generations, and honestly I thought they always looked cool. But the pants are wool, and... wool pants in Texas will absolutely take the life out of you. There's no nice way to put it. I've looked at stuff on Twin Roses as well, and it LOOKS gorgeous, but the fabrics they choose would just be slow death in Texas sun... For anyone in Texas or other sunny southern states, I urge linen for Jedi costumes. Linen will age and wrinkle like homespun stuff, and breathes well. |
