Hello community members !!  Grin

As per my Introduction post, I am getting ready to submit my order for my first saber.
My armament will be the Dark Initiate V4.  I chose a duplicate of the main color for Diamond Pulse for my Initial setup, it seems like it should be a cool flicker effect  Smiley

First off, i am holding off on some of the features for a few reasons:
1)   I am low on funds   Sad
2)   The Covertec equipment..  I am not clear whether or not the the wheel can be removed.  Does anyone know?  I was thinking about trying to put a clip on a surface or a bag maybe.
3)   No Recharge port in the budget right now..
4)   No emitter windows for personal preference.
5)   Extra blades will have to wait, so far the 36" mid-grade seems most suitable considering i have not gotten into sparring yet, but def. want to add a H blade to my kit eventually.

What do you guys think?

So long as you have a spare micro USB cable available to access the Diamond controller, you should be fine

I think having the main color and the pulse color be the same will make the pulse unnoticeable in practice, since there will be no change in color.  Is this really what you want?

And I would recommend getting the wrench for $1, unless you know for a fact you have a 5/64" hex wrench available, that you can find right now, and that you won't lose.  If you're anything like me, knowing you have a tool is meaningless, unless you have JUST NOW located by both eyes and hands, not only by memory.

As for the covertech, the wheel can be removed from the saber. It is a simple task as its only held on my a allen head screw. The holder is designed to attach to any belt and modifying it to work with a pouch should not be a problem. Just take your time and think out the end product. Remember that with the saber attached you will have a decent amount of weight hanging so you want to be sure the attachment point is strong enough to handle it.
