Here is still the most impressive Lego we have, my son built this all by himself when he was only 7. It is still the prize in his collection now being guarded by Deadpools and a Demogorgon:  Hi All, I commented on this great Artoo model ^^ when Edon posted it and I mentioned I made a Delta 7 Jedi Starfighter many years ago....well! I finally dug it out of storage. Ok it may not be as good as the Star Destroyers and AT-ATs that have featured recently but I thought you guys and girls might like to see my kit bashing attempt anyway.     Now I built this about 15 years ago so it has some "battle damage" (missing landing gear foot and it's a bit weathered!) but not bad from a police helicopter and seaplane model combined. There are no dedicated Star Wars kit parts in it. p.s. sorry for the blurry pics, they were taken using an old cell camera phone. |

I recognize many of these models from waaaaaaaaayyyy back in the '80s. My cousin was a LEGO maniac long before I was, and he had almost all of these. |
