Title: Baby Yoda Stuffed Prop Alternative
Post by: SaberiusPrime on January 15, 2020, 04:32:10 AM
Just thought I would share the news that we're getting a stuffed baby Yoda that's technically life size. Might be a good alternative to buy rather than spend a bunch of money trying to recreate him but for those who want to recreate him more power to you! Definitely good for someone who wants to cosplay as the Mandalorian.

Catch me at build-a-bear I guess.

(I've been dragging my feet at making one of these for like a month and feel deeply silly right about now)

I just preorderd mine last night. ;D They ship on 4/20. I would have bought two but It's limited to one per customer.

They're probably seeing how many orders they'll get and bulk purchase the supplies needed so they can make sure they have enough for the pre-orders. That's my thought here.

I don't think that's the Build-A-Bear one. I'll wait for Build-A-Bear to come out with it and then I'll go buy it.

I got there from the link you provided. Here is the bit at the end of the article you posted:

"Disney and Build-A-Bear Workshop are no strangers to partnerships and this is a guaranteed gold mine for both parties, with everyone winning, including their customers.

Needless to say, these will fly off the shelves faster than they can be stocked, and don’t be surprised when they begin to appear at your local Build-A-Bear Workshop in the coming months! No news yet if there will be any special sound effects or additional accessories associated with the character.

FYI – You can pre-order Baby Yoda from Shop Disney! Just click here."

This is the where the link I used to pre order came from. If it's not the Build-A-Bear version, I'm still happy with it, so thanks again. :)

He needs to coo his Baby-Yoda-gibberish, and he needs his soup cup.

If it is I will probably build it at Build-A-Bear. There's something more..... for lack of a better word intimate about making your own Build-A-Bear. That little childhood spark in you that makes you giggle.

I'm gonna bring my mom so she can tell me I can only get one accessory, to truely complete the Childhood Experience ©

I took my oldest to build a raptor and a T-Rex from the Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom release back in 2018, it was fun. I think he'll enjoy going back

The only options they could have (as far as things held in the show) are the soup cup, the lever handle, or a froggo.

Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol.2. Kraglin eating soup to the song "Wham bam shang-a-lang" and singing "soup soup" instead of "ooh ooh"?

Nevermind.

You'd think that would have been fresher in my mind considering I just watched that last week.

Looks a little small but that just might be way at I need to complete the Mando cosplay I am working on. Can you pose the arms in other positions? Are the eyes plastic? Thanks in advance.
