My first saber and I cant be happier!!! Ultra sabers are freaking amazing! Got the mid grade ultra edges on there with the Violet amethyst. So /drool.

very nice why have one saber in VA when you can have two? :D also nice customization with the white tape gives it more of a lightside look. :)

Ultra, I quite possibly am. My name is Sean if that rings a bell. I picked my sabers up at the shop itself on Thursday(7/28). I met Alex and Emory at the shop, Alex took off right after I got there.

And thanks guys! I always roll light side :). I plan to add some light tan leather wrappings around it to give it a bit more character, but we will see. I love its simplicity as it stands now. The tape is an overgrip for tennis rackets by Babolat, amazing grip and claims 220% "absorption" I'm assuming sweat :p. Its the Babolat, Pro Team Tacky overgrip.

To anyone not sure about gettin' a liberator... I 110% recommend it. It feels great in my hands and as a staff is just straight up /drool.

Awesome man.  The liberator staff looks GREAT in VA, nice choice.  I almost got a liberator battle staff a while back, but went for the DSI staff instead.  I'm not unhappy with my choice, but I'm probably gonna look into getting a liberator eventually.

PS I'm jealous you got to meet Alex and Emory and visit the Ultrasabers shop...

Sh*t man, I'm jealous of my self! Ha ha seeing the shop and meeting the guys was awesome, plus I got to see a lot of the hilts in person and OMG! they're sooooooo beautiful! Made me want to buy every saber they make, like right now. And of course the guys were great to meet, very nice, humble and friendly! I wish they had a physical location or store or something.

Is it just me or does it look blue in most of these pics?

It does. All these were taken with my cell or my roomies Iphone4, so they are a little off.

I am waiting on my other roomie to upload the pics she took with her Nikon D70, in those it looks pink. Plus the pics are a longer exposure so they look awesome. Total blur of pink ribbons of light, not to mention the street lights in the back ground make the night sky look like malacor V.

I want to duel some one really bad while in front of a long exposure camera or a video camera... but I'm not finished with my roomies customization of his Anakin replica so I'm kinda S.O.L. on that lol.

Does anyone notice it looks more of a guardian blue in the photos?

Did anyone notice that this question was just answered? ;)  The purple always ends up looking like blue in photos, just a fact of life.

yes sir, liberator staff.... and lemme tell you... fits like a glove! Works great for spinning infront and I can swing it around my back well and above my head if I feel like it.
It is a lot harder to keep it spinning fast when I'm just doing my airplane propeller spin thingy, a lot of wind resistance on the blades :( but it sounds cool!

It's just gonna make Halloween interesting... I think I'ma have to rock only one half :( But man I love that colour. definitely is more blue at the hilt and up to a deeper pink at the blade tip. love the transition of the colours in the blade.


"Equilibrium" should be coming from netflix today, I'm excited.

i wasnt able to watch it. the download wasnt that good. ill have to go out and rent it somewhere, oor use netflix unless i find a better download

Cross wrapping of black and white. One wrapped counter clockwise while the other colour is wrapped clockwise from the same point, crossing over each other down the hilt. I picture it to look like a checker board or something. It's clear in my head but I don't have the materials to try it.

Or just re-wrapping one hilt to be black, kinda a yin yang thing. Keeping balance in the universe, that's what us Jedi do right?

Sounds like an awesome idea to me! :) Oh the endless possibilities. That's what is so great. So much variety that could be done to make a saber your own.

Nice Liberator Battle Staff. That purple looks awesome. Has kind of a blue hint though which makes it more awesome. are those Mid Grade blades? :D My new Dominix V2 LE in BR comes in next week so I am happy. =] Full detail pics and a video will be uploaded on Wednsday after I get home from work.

Thanks qui-tom! I picked it up as a battle staff so I use the coupler it came with :p i just wrapped it with some of the white grip tape as well so it all blends and feels like one hilt, very solid.
 
Thank you too Cantus! Its the violet amethyst with nice and fresh batteries, the blue over powers the red making it much more purple with the fresh cells. Such a bright and vivid colour so happy with it. and yes they are the mid grade ultra blades.
