Which one is your favorite?
My favorite is "Black Star". Next, I do like "Ancient Saber". Not fond of "Sith" or "Episode II". The rest are ok. |

I typically like Dark Side fonts for their base/growly nature. The Luke ROTJ font by NinjaJesus sounds so good and is unique to most. And I'm really enjoying the Dark Side and Light Side fonts by Zren Tobas.

I think I'll use the driver software to change the "power up/down" on Ancient Saber. I like the "whoosh" sound! |

I've recently become fond of the Ancient Saber font because other than a few minor things, it sounds like a pressurized steam vent. I've had a steampunk idea for a saber for a while but have wanted a steam sound to it. Now I got it.  As far as my normal prefs, I like to mix them up. For Sith sabers I like the power up of either Starkiller or Sith, same for the "hum/idle". I pick and choose what the best whooshes (movements) are as well as strikes. I'm not overly fond of the Sith power down, but I do like the Starkiller one. Just wish there was one with the same sound style that last a little longer. For my Jedi sabers, The Obsidian std font pretty much covers it. There are some movement noises that I'm not keen on, but I let them slide. |

The standard Obsidian font and the Black Star font are my favorites. I've mixed up all the "Episode" fonts to make my own.

I quite like the Darth Vader one by Lord Vane. Simple but stylish, I use it for my Jacen Solo themed Dark Prophecy due to the obvious parallels between the two character paths.

Hi. Of the v4 options, I like the Ancient font the best. Kinda like the way it takes so long to power down. There is a free Dr. Who Tardis font that I would really like to put on a specific saber. Some of Nova Star's. I'm sure that there are more but none come to mind in the moment.  |

for general sobering I love the sith sound font that comes on the new V4 sound cards
I'm also a fan of the pre-visla sound font on the free fonts thread
and the Metallica sound font......awsome

As for me, I've been switching lately between TFUII and Count Dooku for my Crimson Scorpion. They both sound menacing!

My Dark Catalyst with the Blazing Red blade begs for something mean and "crunchy" sounding. I went with pure "SITH" at first, but I found a "Kit Fisto" sound font, whose idle sounds very throaty, almost a growl. Only downside to that is the clash and move sounds are all about .35 seconds, very quick.
I also really enjoyed the Starcraft sound-pack. I only used one sound from it, though, as a boot. My lightsaber now shouts, "POWER OVERWHELMING!!!" when I put in the batteries. It's great.
