Yeah, but we all already knew that they would do amazing. I had never heard Cumberbatch voice acting before, but he did amazing as Smaug. Plus Smaug looked awesome (other than the fact that he had scales on the underside of himself, and not treasure.  ). Cumberbatch is good. Not my favourite though. |

 Oh, and also, this is a double negative. Making it a positive. That's why I said he was right.  And Smaug was probably the best part of the Hobbit movies.
Yes, indeed. I didn't know they were making another trilogy at the time, and was supremely disappointed when they didn't show Smaug in the first movie. He was pretty much the main reason I wanted to see them. I was honestly a little bored with Bot5A after they killed him. Cumberbatch is good. Not my favourite though.
I love him because I've never seen him play "dumb". Every role I've ever seen him in, he's playing the smartest man (dragon) in the room.  |

Haven't seen Sherlock. Yes, indeed. I didn't know they were making another trilogy at the time, and was supremely disappointed when they didn't show Smaug in the first movie. Sherlock is excellent. And Cumberbatch is excellent in it. The whole cast is truly phenominal. Hmmm. Desolation was easily the worst of the three IMO.

I can only take so much Dwarf. Which is probably why I was a fan of the battle scene in 3. I haven't watched season 3 of Sherlock yet, but I hope to soon.

1) WTF? Season 4 has already come and gone. Get on it, boy. 2) Ummm.........duh? I believe that leading the Dwarves back to Eribor was Gandalf's primary goal in an endeavor to get rid of Smaug, in order to prevent him from joining Sauron's forces. |

1) yeah, I know. I've just been busy. 2) that was the part of it, but Gandalf also wanted the good guys to be in control of Erebor because of it's strategic location. |
