It depended on the venue. If I was doing a club it was mainly house music (deep, tribal, uplifting and vocal). If I was doing a bar I would play a mix of 90s RnB, old skool hip-hop, club classics, 80s soul, funk, rare groove, reggae and bashment. Would occasionally drop in the odd classic rock tune too, because I could. |

It depended on the venue. If I was doing a club it was mainly house music (deep, tribal, uplifting and vocal). Don't know about the comics, but I've been told it's a fairly faithful to them. When they tell the students' back stories, they go to an animation style that I can only assume is based on the comics. It's dark and cynical and pulls no punches. I love it. Plus it has a bitchin' 80s soundtrack, so....goodtimes. |

You had me at bitchin' 80s soundtrack! I don't mind minor changes from the comics, just as long as the show as a whole makes sense/is good. I don't think it's on Netflix over here yet so will have to check out Amazon Prime in case it's over there (onec I finish American Gods s2) |

Plus Henry Rollins plays the poisons master. Thus far the story makes sense. There are some issues I have with certain characters/groups that don't seem to make much sense, but it's a challenge to draw direct parallels from high school to an academy of assassins. Like why the hell do they need a cheerleading squad? There are some other questions but I can't ask without spoiling. Considering it's still in its first season and not even over yet, it may be a while getting to a streaming service. But well worth the viewing when it does. |

Cheerleaders are creepy? Since when? Maybe it's because I live in the UK where cheerleading is not so common, but I've never found them creepy. Even when they are patrolling a graveyard at night to slay vampires. Like why the hell do they need a cheerleading squad?
