Hey all, new member here but as the subject stated I'm a long time fan of SW. I stumbled onto US and found myself wishing I had done so sooner. I just placed my first order today and I'm sure I'll be hooked and come back for more and I'm hoping I might find some useful tips on mods etc as I'm completely new to this. Thanks all, guess that's it for now.

Oh I've been looking through all sorts of things already. I'll admit I've been feeling out over US for a few days and I'm excited to see what I get in the mail in the coming weeks. I've already had some ideas I'd like to try eventually if it's not too harsh on the old wallet.

Well, pleasure and necessity are things that must be balanced accordingly with the ol' bank account  Lots of people just get grab-bags for the parts then mix and match (I read your post in the GrabBag thread) so I wish you the best of luck with your randomised choice oh and I thought you might enjoy this picture, considering your generosity to your friends  |

Thanks. I figured that wasn't a bad way to go for a first saber. I saw a wooden hilt saber on the clone wars, a young wookies saber, and it got me thinking of doing something similar. I think at some point I may go for something like the consular hilt but having the silver portion made to look like wood with some hydrographics. That or I'll go and carve my own lol.

Welcome to the forum! I was just watching that episode of the Clone Wars the other day - a fascinating look at the construction of the weapons, even if not how I imagined it. Good luck with your grab bag, and hopefully if you get something you want to modify, you can share it with us as you go |
