Just as the title says, I have been thinking about making my own armor (budget, of course) for a costume for halloween this year. I have doubts that what I have in my head will actually come together, but we will see. The trooper costume I have in mind has never been done by anyone else before, at least not that I know of. I would also need to make the helmet, seeing as how I cannot find the version Im looking for for sale anywhere.

I was going to by one of the sub - par "deluxe" edition trooper costumes and mod it, but just watched a video on how terrible they really are.

Could anyone give me guidance on the best and easiest ways to make helmets/armor without compromising quality or looks too terribly?
