Actually, I've found it helpful to listen to this type of music every minute of every day, until you are so sick of it, that you NEVER, EVER want to hear another song even remotely like it again, so much so that upon hearing the first few notes of any song by Bieber, or any artist even remotely like him, your first reaction is to bash your head against the nearest wall, table, desk, or otherwise suitable large solid object, until you're rendered unconscious from the self inflicted blunt force trauma.
Although that may be a little extreme for some, it worked for me.
