Apparently I acquired a rare mod.
@Viv, I really hope you can promote Ackbar in time. 😬
EDIT: Finally got Palpatine to Gear 7. He's my 11th toon to reach purple Gear, with RG being the only one above 7.

I now have 100 shards to get K-2 to 7*. I was wor4ied they were going to pull him from the shard shop tomorrow. We'll see. I'm just glad my strategy paid off.

Awesome! Him leading with Vader and RG is devastating. It takes me a few days to reach 7, lucky you. I now have 100 shards to get K-2 to 7*. I was wor4ied they were going to pull him from the shard shop tomorrow. We'll see. I'm just glad my strategy paid off.
Why does it matter if they pull its shards from the Shop if you have enough? |

Why does it matter if they pull its shards from the Shop if you have enough?
I was worried I wouldn't make it in time. Yesterday was kind of a dry day as far as pulling shards from cantina and LS/DS battles. I also only got one shot at shards from the arena, and I only had 102 crystals. Since I had used up all my LS/DS battles that would've given me shards, that meant I only would get one refresh for the cantina battles, and I still needed almost 10 shard to get enough credits. If I didn't pull from the guild store and fleet shipments, then I wouldn't have had enough shards to get him if I kept up my rate I was going at with the cantina. I also figured "a limited time only" would make sense to pull him on the first day of a new month/year. So, I was afraid they were going to pull him when I had 870 shard credits when I needed 1,000. Right at the finish line, but not able to get him after neglecting so many other toons would've been aggravating. However, I was able to pull a couple toons from fleet shipments, so it put me over the edge. I was able to save my crystals and use my guild currency for Rey shards to move her closer to 7*. |

I have over 200 each of 4*-7* and over 2000 each of 1*-3* so I hardly need more. You wanna give me more training droids EA? Fine. I'm gonna need like 100 million credits to go with them to be able to use the damn things. |

Wait a while. I currently have: 1* - 111 2* - 35 3* - 6 4* - 260 5* - 55 When I'm training a toon, I usually run out of credits before I make any sort of debt in my 4* droids. I take full responsibility for my act. . . . . . No, I didn't have anything to do with it. It's a pleasant surprise though. But I was thinking, that's not much more often than usual, it it? I think it's about the same, but with all the other events, the heists haven't been as frequent lately, it seems. I remember when I had over 7 million and was beginning to wonder what I'd do with all of it. Then I unlocked and discovered 4 and 5 tier mods. |

Yeah, you newer players are doing great. I wish I would've had this thread when I started. You guys have gotten great advice, fantastic and powerful allies right away, and you got into some good guilds. That's a good recipe for success. Just be ready for the climb to slow down, though, and don't get discouraged. You won't level up as fast, gear gets tougher, and you'll need more of it, and everything becomes more expensive. Just keep plowing ahead. |
