OK so I received my first saber today, an SS Raven with DVA and obsidian, and I also purchased 2 MLS units in PO and SD.
My problem is I cannot for the life of me get the blade holder out to get to the emitter.
I have removed the blade retention screws, the blade holder retention screws, and even the claws in case that was causing it to hang up.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone have any ideas?

So after looking at this for a while it feels like something is hanging up on one of the grooves on the blade holder.
It spins freely but will only move up and down about 1/8".
Is it possible that one of the posts used to hold the bottom half of the claws on the hilt is in too far causing the blade holder to not come out?

you know that the screws holding the claws in can be backed out, right? try that first.

I have taken every screw I can find out of the hilt, still won't budge.
