Ok, I've always found that names are a little difficult to translate. For instance if I said "My name is Mason." But I spelled it B-O-B, I'm not going to respond to "Bob". Names are one of my interlingual peeves. |

Maybe the Wookiees didn't have a name for it, so the Republic named it Kashyyyk. |

Very true. Or Germany from Deutschland. I hate that. Would these theories have anything to do with telepathy and being able to translate the intent of the grunts and growls of the Wookiees into a spoken language?
