One other thing just hit me about Luke being closed off from the Force. Yoda commented how much he had missed him. Why would Yoda miss him if he wasn't closed off?

Saw it a second time last night and caught some things I'd definitely missed the first time. I now think more than ever that Kylo is lying about Rey's parents and that there is a definite reason Snoke's demise happened the way it did. Listen, writers do this crap for a reason. They make you angry. They make you question what the hell they were thinking. It's how they get you to watch the movie. Could I be wrong? Yep. But I know that I personally have deliberately written absolutely asinine things just to get my readers to be like, "What the HELL?!?" Then, they kept on reading. |

Rey could still have been manipulated. The Dark Side preys on fears and I think that IS her greatest fear. No parents that actually cherished her. No parents that loved her. It's a big deal to her and I'm sure she thinks about it often. I still think Kylo could have pulled that out of her mind and used it against her.

There's some truth in the anger comment from Noctis, and this isn't the first time it's happened. People were PISSED at the end of ESB. They didn't want to accept what Vader said, nor did they want the story to end where it did. Give it time. As for Kylo's lies, he has motivation to lie. It also doesn't gel with Rey's vision. I remember her yelling to come back while looking at a ship that was blasting off. Doesn't seem like drinking money to me. I honestly hate this film. Worst movie I’ve ever seen.

Rey went "straight to the dark". Luke said it offered her something she needed. What did it offer? She assumed it would show her parents, but it only showed a line of Rey. Completely missed musical opportunity, by the way.

I saw it Thursday the 14th at 7pm!  Okay, enough rubbing it in. At the beginning, I kinda got a BSG episode "33" vibe, did anyone else? I also think that Finn/Rose thing was pretty fast, but she could still be starstruck. |
