I currently own: Red, Silver, Ruby, Fire Red, Leaf Green (brother's), Pearl (brother's), and Heart Gold. Do I like Pokemon? I don't know....

To be honest, my favorite generations are between Pokedex #s 1-388, or Red/Blue (USA) to Ruby/Sapphire. But because of new moves and other cool stuff, Heart Gold/Soul Silver gave me reason to get a new game. Though oddly my highest level Pokemon is a lvl 91 Raichu on my Fire Red...

I honestly like something about each generation. I'm just one of those people who likes playing the games. That said, my favourite is Charmander and its evos.

I like all the generations, honestly, they're not that different to me(that's a good thing, it's a great formula that needs no changing). And I never put too much stock in catching ALL the Pokemon, that's always been a secondary goal to completing the story for me. I've played most generations, though I've missed the Leaf Green/Fire Red(I should find and buy those) and Heart/Soul gen(again, I should get those). Come to think of it, I've yet to finish Black actually, lol. I should get on that.
