A saber a month. I know it's bad for me, but I just can't stop! Every time I try to quit I just keep coming back.
Although, I think I'm gonna break the 1-a-month habit. Next month is gonna be repairs on my Raven.

Fried the Obsidian and blew out the red LED. It was a very sad day.
I'm thinking of downgrading back to the soundless version. The obsidian is really BA, but I think I'll stick to stunt until the bugs get worked out.

I know the feeling, My Consular also had Obsidian. One day the battery pack got stuck in the hilit and in a effort to get it out I ended up breaking batterie pack itself. (The plastic part between the speaker and battery holder broke in half) =( But yeah my advice to anyone get sound is handle with care and definitely get the li-ion set up cause its tight fit Thanks for the force point btw. =D |

definitely get the li-ion set up Second this. I bought my Obsidian RGB Raven without the Li-Ion, and later decided to get a set of the Li-Ion batteries to use in the saber instead of Alkalines. Well, that was my mistake. Apparently there's a wee voltage difference, and it toasted the red LED and obsidian. It's really no fault of the Obsidian's, it's just that I was worried about running it on low batteries, and accidentally went overboard. |
